How does E-Verify use my information?

E-Verify will use your information to confirm whether you are authorized to work in the U.S. by comparing identity and employment authorization information you provided with records available to DHS and SSA. The information E-Verify collects may also be used by law enforcement to prevent fraud, misuse of E-Verify, discrimination, and employment-based identity theft.
