E-Verify+ is currently not available for E-Verify Employer Agents, Web Services or Federal Contractors with the Federal Acquisitions Regulation E-Verify Clause.

E‑Verify employers have until Jan. 5, 2025, to download records for E‑Verify cases last updated on or before Dec. 31, 2014. On Jan. 6, 2025, USCIS will dispose of these E‑Verify records that are more than 10 years old.

Program administrators may download the Historic Records report to retain information about these E‑Verify cases. The case data includes basic company information as well as case identifiers and case resolution information.

E-Verify Records Retention and Disposal Fact Sheet

USCIS annually disposes of E-Verify employer records that are 10 years old or older per the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) records retention and disposal schedule (N 1-566-08-7). This reduces security and privacy risks associated with the U.S. government retaining personally identifiable information. To retain E-Verify case information, your company’s program administrator or corporate administrator may download and save the Historic Records Report, which includes:

Later this year, E-Verify browser users will begin using Login.gov to log into E-Verify. This change will require users to enter more information than just a password through a process called multi-factor authentication. For example, along with the password, users may be asked to enter a code sent to their email or phone.
